Google Grant for nonprofits allows for $10,000/ month of advertising for nonprofits
StratoServe LLC founder Dr. Roy writes on LinkedIn :
"The Google Grant for nonprofits provides an advertising grant of $10,000/month in kind, to advertise on Google AdWords. There are some interesting conditions on the grant that include (a) AdWords text advertising only on Google - not on search partners (b) No display or banner advertising and (c) A maximum bid of $2.00 per keyword.
The conditions of the grant allow Google to not incur additional costs by way of paying to search and display partners. While the grant is a great help for non-profits, the maximum bid of $2.00 soon gets you thinking about the content on the non-profit's website".

"The US charitable giving season corresponds to the Thanksgiving-New Year period and now is a great time to start preparing for the 2014 giving season. With about 1.5 Million non-profts - think of any social cause- and there are hundreds if not thousands of charities operating in that space offering stiff competition for donor dollars".
