Today is Diwali and it was not surprising that President Obama lit the Diwali lamp for the first time in the White House. It was however a landmark occasion that British Prime Minister Gordon Brown celebrated Diwali for the very first time from 10 Downing Street. An interesting dimension of the new globalization.
